The students and staff of NES took time today to enjoy the beautiful weather and to recognize our students for their acts of kindness throughout the 2014-2015 school year.
For the first time in NES history, we are holding a CARES & Field Day Celebration. Our outdoor fields has been transformed and are playing stations for games like Potato Sack Races,
Javelin Throw, Pizza Relay, Water Balloon Toss, Holey Waterfall and Knock It Off. Our kids are having a blast!!
A very SPECIAL THANK YOU TO…
Our OUTSTANDING PHYSICAL EDUCATION SPECIALISTS: MR. MATT NEMETH & MR. DAN DEPOTO who organized and facilitated today’s activities.
Our PTA for donating the sweet ice treats.
Our Parent Volunteers who gave their time to assist with the playing stations.
This day would not be possible without your support–THANK YOU!

NES staff and students attending our Summer Reading Challenge Kick-Off Assembly this afternoon. NES students are faced with the challenge of reading 3,200,000 minutes this summer. Students can begin logging minutes on Monday, May 4th. Please be sure to read the letter that was sent home with your child this week noting how to log minutes and password information. And, be sure to ask your child what I have agreed to do if they meet the reading challenge…fun, fun, fun!
