Our guest speaker for the evening is Chad Williams; Chad is the founder and director of Safe Teens America and Neural Activity. As a former member of law enforcement for 13 years, he now works to develop and deliver dynamic community programs that help promote awareness among students, parents and community members.
The focus of Chad’s presentation will be on internet safety and the dangers of smart phone/internet usage and how we can safeguard our students from those dangers. If you are interested in learning more about Chad Williams, please visit his website at www.safeteensameric.org .

We want to take a moment to congratulate all of our students and staff for completing the first round of PARCC testing. We are so pleased and thankful for the effort put forth by each student. They worked diligently each day, and they approached the process with a positive outlook.

Due to today’s delayed opening, we made the decision to postpone the start of our PARCC testing session until tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3rd. Please open the attachment for the updated testing schedule. Students have been made aware of these changes; 7th grade students are prepared to begin testing tomorrow.
Please note: Moving forward, in the event we have a delayed opening at any point during testing, we will proceed with testing as scheduled.

PARCC (Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) testing for Stone Bridge students will begin on Monday, March 2nd. Tonight, Wednesday, February 18th : AHS Scheduling Meeting:
–Parents of 8th graders, as well as 8th grade students, are invited to attend tonight’s presentation at AHS. The focus of the presentation will be on preparing our 8th grade students for high school scheduling. It will begin at 6 pm in the high school auditorium.
Tuesday, February 24th: PARCC Parent Night:

Our final round of Parent/Teacher Conferences for this school year is quickly approaching! As always, we value the process and look forward to engaging in meaningful conversations with you.
We will continue to utilize our electronic process for scheduling conferences. You can click on the following link, http://ptcfast.com/schools/_76 , or you may access it by visiting our SBMS website; once there, you may begin the scheduling process. Please note that you must have a working email address to use the system.
We will launch the conferences and activate the portal on February 9th at 8:30 a.m.; please be aware that you will not be able to sign up for conferences prior to this date or time.
As a result of the time available for conferences, teacher schedules will fill up quickly. If the teacher who you would like to meet with has no available time to meet during conferences, please email him/her directly to find another time to schedule a conference.
Our conference days and times are as follows:
