Has your child misplaced something recently, if so, we may have the answer for you!
Lost and found items have been gathered and displayed in the hallway right outside the auditorium. Please feel free to stop by, today and/or tomorrow as you visit with teachers, to check the lost and found items and to pick up anything that may belong to your child/children.
Thank you and please enjoy parent/teacher conferences!
As a reminder, on Monday, February 10th, our 8th grade students will have an opportunity to hear about the wonderful opportunities and programs that Allentown High School has to offer. Mrs. Constance Embley and Mrs. Sandy DeLuca will meet with the students as they get ready to begin the scheduling process.
Mrs. Embley and Mrs. DeLuca will share a similar presentation for parents at the high school. This presentation will also be held on Monday, February 10th. It will begin at 7pm in the high school auditorium. All parents are welcome to attend; this is a great opportunity to hear what the high school has to offer. Parents will also be able to address any questions they may have.
If you have any questions, you may call the main office of Stone Bridge Middle School or Allentown High School.
In the event you did not receive the letter we sent home with 8th grade students, please read the letter below which discusses the change of dates for the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C.
We wanted to make you aware of an important change of dates in regards to our upcoming 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. Unfortunately, the hotel is no longer able to accommodate us on the 15th and 16th of May 2014. The hotel has taken full responsibility and has been working with us over the last few days to identify and secure new dates.
As a result of this unforeseen circumstance, the trip has now been rescheduled for Monday, May 12th and Tuesday, May 13th. We will be providing you with additional information within the next few weeks; however, we wanted to make you aware of this change as soon as possible.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that we tried our best in trying to locate other hotels for our originally schedule dates; this was the best we could do in such a short amount of time.
As always, please contact us with any questions or concerns. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
Thank you in advance,
Stefanie Negro Michael Kays
Principal Vice Principal
Parent/Teacher Conferences are right around the corner! Conferences allow for meaningful conversations focused on the most important part of the Stone Bridge family, our students. We look forward to this dialogue in an effort to be partners in the education of our kids.
Conference sign-ups will occur electronically through our website. Parents can either use the link on the SBMS website or “cut and paste” this web address: http://www.ptcfast.com/schools/_76. Once you get to this website, a set of directions will help guide you through the process of signing up for each of your child’s teachers. Please note that you must have a working email address to use the system. We will launch the conferences on February 12th at 8:30 a.m.; please be aware that you will not be able to sign up for conferences prior to this date or time.
As a result of the time available for conferences, teacher schedules will fill up quickly. If the teacher that you would like to meet with has no available time to meet during conferences, please email the teacher directly to find another time to have a conference.
Our conference days and times are as follows:
- Monday, February 24th – 1:10 – 3:10 p.m.
- Tuesday, February 25th – 1:10 – 3:10 p.m.
Each conference with teachers will be 10 minutes.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email us.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your continued patience and support you have provided me with as I continue to settle into my new role of Principal at Stone Bridge Middle School. I cannot thank you enough for your kind words and encouragement; you have once again reminded me why I am so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful district. I am so excited and eager to build new relationships with students, staff and parents while I continue to nurture those that I have already embraced. As I have said in the past, if you have any question or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to what the remainder of this year has to offer!
