Your powerpoint presentation should include:

• Minimum of 8 slides.
• Written information as bulleted lists. NO long paragraphs!
• Slide 1: name of project and students
• Slide 2: the mystery being solved
• Slide 3: what questions did you ask yourself as the investigator? Be sure to include other materials that might have clouded your investigation.
• Answer each of your questions with one or more slides per question.
• Second to the last slide (more if necessary): Conclusion of the investigation. Did you exonerate or convict on the evidence?
• Last slide: bibliography of sites including those used for backgrounds, images and information (please include page titles and complete URL's)

 

Deductions will be made for the following offenses:

• Typographical errors. Professional presentations should be done with care. If you can't spell the words correctly, use spell check. If you're still not sure, use a simpler word you DO know how to spell.
• Don't include sound, it's distracting during the oral presentation.
• Don't include messy backgrounds with too many colors. It's difficult to read your copy.
