A big hello to any visitors to this page. From 1994 until 1999 I was an adjunct teacher at Middlesex County College teaching an introductory course in Geology. As a help to my students I posted my lecture notes so students could look up information they might have missed during the previous night's lecture. I have kept these notes posted here because of the large number of emails from people who have found this page and consider it to be helpful to them. I've removed the topographic map project and the webquest links, but the lecture notes are still in place. Enjoy the pages that follow.
